Prof. Raifeld has over 35 years of successful senior management experience in healthcare. In a few short years, he grew Raifarm to become the leading professional service provider, consistently recognized for quality, outstanding expertise, and strong ethical character.
Prior to founding Raifarm, Prof. Raifeld served as President and Chief Operating Officer for ClinStar, a leading Russian Clinical Research Organization, which he co-founded and grew to over 200 employees in Russia, Ukraine, and the US. Before ClinStar, Prof. Raifeld worked for seven years at Wyeth in the US, where he oversaw a team of 30 researchers who successfully developed and patented a new type of RSV inhibitors.
Before starting his career in business, Prof. Raifeld founded and headed a laboratory for total synthesis of biologically active compounds at Moscow Institute of Fine Chemical Technology (MIFCT). He has published extensively in Russian and international scientific journals, with over 120 articles and reviews and 20 patents to his name.
Prof. Raifeld received his M.S., Ph.D., and Dr. Sci. degrees from MIFCT.
